Elaine grew up outside Arcanum. She graduated from the University of Toledo in 2004 with a bachelor’s in education and in 2008 from Winebrenner Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Family Ministry. During her time in Toledo, she accepted the Lord into her life and began to follow him. She has been transformed by the Lord in her life and gives him praise for being able to love little ones while being a teacher. As of 2021, she works at United Theological Seminary in Trotwood where she is the Houses of Study Administrator. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Dan, Kia their Dog, crafting of all sorts, and cooking.

Marnelise van der Walt and her husband, Hendrik, moved from South Africa with their two boys in 1999 and she has served on staff with FPC since 2002. She began her time on staff leading our children’s ministry but made the decision in 2017 to leave that position and volunteer instead. Marnelise is currently our financial secretary and has served us in that position since 2013. She finds great joy while gardening, taking walks and traveling.

Lori Conway has served on staff with FPC since 2019.
